Example Itinerary – Winter Romance Retreat, 4 Nights
A sample four-night romantic winter stay at Lumo Resort, combining private comfort, Arctic activities and time to relax together.
Day 1 – Arrival and Romantic Welcome
Arrive at Kuusamo Airport and transfer to Lumo Resort.
Check in, receive your thermal clothing and settle into your accommodation with panoramic views, private sauna and jacuzzi. Your room will be romantically decorated before arrival, with gifts, welcome treats and sparkling wine waiting for you.
In the evening, enjoy a three-course dinner at the resort restaurant.
Day 2 – Myllykoski Tour and Resort Activities
After breakfast, enjoy a private guided tour to Myllykoski, one of the most beautiful nature spots in the area.
Depending on the day’s schedule, lunch is served either at the resort or in Ruka.

After breakfast, head out for a reindeer farm visit by snowmobile.
Depending on the day’s schedule, lunch is served either at the resort or in Ruka.

Day 4 – Husky Ride and Final Evening
After breakfast, enjoy a husky ride through the winter landscape.
Lunch is served at the resort.
Spend the afternoon enjoying your favourite resort activities or relaxing in your private sauna and jacuzzi.
End the day with a three-course dinner at the resort restaurant.
Day 5 – Departure
Enjoy breakfast before check-out.
Transfer back to Kuusamo Airport for your departure flight.
