Dining is included in your stay
The kitchen at Lumo carries a clear Michelin ambition — reflected in every plate.

Kim Mikkola is one of Finland’s most acclaimed chefs and a leading figure in modern Nordic cuisine. Mikkola’s cuisine is driven by a strong ingredient-focused philosophy, emphasizing seasonality, locality, and flavors inspired by nature. At Lumo, he brings the forest directly to the plate — combining the Arctic environment with contemporary gastronomy into a unique culinary experience.

Provenance
This land has fed people for centuries. The Sámi who lived here hunted, fished and foraged from the same forests and waters that surround Lumo today.
We follow the same logic — wild game, fish, berries, herbs and syrups sourced from our own grounds. Spirits from a distillery with ties to the resort.
Nothing on the plate travels far. Everything has a name and a place.
