Example Itinerary – Lumo’s Magical Christmas, 5 Nights
A sample five-night Christmas stay at Lumo Resort, combining festive dining, Arctic activities, private relaxation and magical Christmas moments.
Day 1 – Arrival
Arrive at Kuusamo Airport and transfer to Lumo Resort.
Check in, receive your thermal clothing and settle into your accommodation with panoramic views, private sauna and jacuzzi. Christmas gifts will be waiting in your room on arrival day, or you can choose a special moment during your stay for the gifts to be given.
In the evening, enjoy a three-course dinner and relax under the Arctic sky.
Day 2 – Arctic Nature and Resort Activities
After breakfast, enjoy the resort’s winter surroundings with snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, sledding or tubing.
Lunch is served at the resort.
In the afternoon, warm up at the Lappish hut by the fire and enjoy the peaceful Christmas atmosphere.

Day 3 – Christmas Eve, Santa and Reindeer Ride
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning at the resort.
Lunch is served at the restaurant.
After lunch, visit Santa’s Cottage and meet Santa with his elves.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful reindeer ride through the snowy surroundings.

Day 4 – Christmas Day and Husky Ride
After breakfast, head out for a husky ride through the winter landscape.
Lunch is served at the resort.
Spend the afternoon relaxing, enjoying the resort activities or warming up in your private sauna and jacuzzi.
In the evening, enjoy a festive Christmas Day dinner.
Day 5 – Snowmobiling and Final Arctic Evening
After breakfast, enjoy snowmobiling at the resort area.
Lunch is served at the resort.
In the afternoon, enjoy your favourite winter activities at your own pace, such as skiing, snowshoeing, sledding or tubing.
End the day with a three-course dinner and a relaxing final evening in your private sauna, jacuzzi or under the Northern Lights.
Day 6 – Departure
Enjoy breakfast before check-out.
Transfer back to Kuusamo Airport for your departure flight.
